Mr. Madiba - News as of 23-07-2013

News as of 23-07-2013

I am really struggling to find news, so I have to do with the little I can find. A hundred children from crèches in and around Johannesburg sang and prayed for former president Nelson Mandela. The SA Early Childhood Development Council arranged buses to shuttle the children from five crèches to the hospital. Spokesperson Teboho Mohapeloa said some of the crèches were based on the East Rand, in Vosloorus and Kempton Park. "Our message with the children is: 'Get better, Tata'," he said. "We are here to pray for Mandela and to say Mandela: 'Please stand up. We need you'." Quite remarkable how many young people still needs Mr. Madiba as a idol, a hero, someone to look up and someone's footsteps to follow in. It takes one person to make a difference, Mr. Madiba started making a difference a very long time ago, and the difference is still happening, in very small measures but it still is. Former president Nelson Mandela's eldest granddaughter Ndileka Mandela visited him. She entered the Medi-Clinic Heart Hospital around 11:30am and left about an hour later. It has to be quite something to have so many people who holds you in their hearts and minds, who loves and supports you, who stands by you through thick and thin. Family is everything in life, without family a person has nothing.
